Yesterday we had our May pack meeting and before we started the scouts were able to climb aboard a Grafton Fire Truck! The meeting started off in the typical fashion with badges and awards for scouts and leaders, along with a skit. Then we had 2 guest fire fighters talk about what they do and fire safety!
Some fun questions that were asked:
- Do you have a trampoline?
- Do you bring marshmallows with you to fires?
- I don’t think you could carry my dog out if my house was on fire, he’s really big.
- You came to my school!
Finally, we ended the meeting with a story about a knight and doing your best.
