July Norcross Park Community Servic

Today the Cub Scouts of Pack 107 had our July Norcross Park Community Service event. We started the event like we do every other: reciting the Scout Oath, Scout Law, Outdoor Code, and Leave No Trace Principles. We got into buddy groups and worked as a team to clean up Norcross Park- picking up trash and cleaning up pine needles in the parking lot area.

Thank you to all who came out to participate!

Congratulations to all our cubscouts and their families for all the hard work, and fun adventures this past year that culminated in them earning their rank badge. Congratulations on ranking up as this marks the beginning of a new scouting year! As we look to the new scouting year, we are very excited for the family scouting program with the addition of girls! Thank you to Troop 107 for coming out to join in the ceremony, and for all their help!

After the advancement ceremony, the pack enjoyed a BBQ feast, and camp out at the Grafton Lion’s Club grounds.  Thank you to the  Grafton Lion’s Club for giving us the venue.

Pack 107 Cleans up Norcross Park.

The cub scouts and their families of Pack 107 enjoyed the beautiful weather today doing some clean up at Norcross Park, as part of their community service commitment.  They brought along a lot of smiles and laughter, as they enjoyed the comradery in the process.

Pack 107 adopted Norcross Park over a year ago,  and the cub scouts have been doing monthly cleanups during the spring, summer, and fall months. They clean up the parking lot, the playground, the basketball court, the baseball field and the big grassy field. Great job everyone, and thank you for your community service commitment. “Many hands make light work.”
